Today, the National Hockey League and SAP are proud to announce a new partnership set to deliver next-level insights and hockey analytics to fans around the globe. Powered by SAP HANA® technology, the newly redesigned NHL.com/Stats experience will revolutionize the way fans get information about their favorite NHL® teams and players. From a revamped user interface complete with rich data visualizations to new player features and next-level statistics, the new NHL.com/Stats site makes analyzing the game easier than scoring on an open net.

For starters, the entire NHL.com/Stats layout has been overhauled, providing a much more interactive experience for hockey fans. A new leaderboard section allows fans to get a quick glimpse of the top ten players across all major statistical categories. Fans can also dive deeper with new sortable NHL stat tables and visualization features that make breaking down teams and players simpler than ever.

While these changes make it easier for all hockey fans to gain a deeper understanding of the game, die-hards will be most excited to check out the new ‘Enhanced Statistics’ featured on NHL.com/Stats. For the first time ever, fans will be given direct access to the statistics NHL executives and teams use to analyze and document performance.

By exploring Enhanced Statistics, fans can better predict the likelihood of different on-ice scenarios, including a real-time statistical look at the odds their favorite team has at capturing the Stanley Cup® Championship. In total, 35 additional advanced stats have been added to NHL.com/Stats, giving fans all the tools they need to think simpler and smarter about the game they love.

Whether you’re gearing up for a post-season push from your favorite team or trying to settle a debate with friends about which player truly makes the biggest impact on the ice, NHL.com/Stats gives you the power play advantage you need. Check it out now!
